Zach's bio study

  November 23, 2:36pm. Partly cloudy with no wind. 45 degrees f. Length of day was 9 hours and 29 minutes. I saw a turtle moving really slowly and some birds. Due to the temperature  and overnight freezes most of the duckweed was killed off. 

  10/15/25 at 2:35pm. 11 hours and 3 minutes worth of day time. It was 62 when I visited. Winds were light and variable. It had rained at some point earlier in the day. Overcast clouds. Since it was significantly colder today I did notice many animals around. I noticed a few birds in the trees and heard some cicadas. I saw some bluegill in the pond. I was on the look out for some late run salmon or maybe a steelhead but no luck. I noticed that the some of the brush had begun to show some more fall colors but nothing significant.

 

  Sep. 29 2025  80 f and sunny. Winds light and variable. Length of today was 11:49 I saw multiple turtles on logs in the pond area of my 30x30. It was very sunny so i'm assuming they were trying to regulate their body temperature. I could smell some mud when I went to the pond. There were many squirrels around along with various species of birds. Because of the rain the stream nearby was running much faster and I could hear it splash over the rocks. No significant changes in my area. I noticed a decent sized log where it hadn't been last.

 9/7/2025 8:00 pm 60 degrees, Clear skies, Calm wind 12 hours and 51 minute day There was some mosquitoes around. I'm assuming this because of the amount of water present.
